Bittiya Sallah provides the financial account opening services and offers services on its platform  respective entities develop, operate & manage its respective sections including collection and usage of the Information.

This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains how we Collect, Use, Process and Disclose information provided by you or collected by us on our platform (website or mobile application) for the purpose of delivery of various services, products and content (collectively referred to as the “Services”) via any mobile or internet connected device or otherwise.

The term “User” for the purposes of this Privacy Policy shall mean You, in the capacity of an individual, a guest user, browser and/ or representative of an entity, who visits, accesses, uses, downloads, deals with, avails Products & Services and/ or transacts through Bittiya Sallah Platform. For the purpose of this Policy, wherever the context so requires “You” or “Your” shall mean User and the Banking and Financial associate Institution hereafter referred as “BFI’s” or “Partner”.

This Privacy Policy is applicable to You as a User of the Bittiya Sallah Products and Services on the Platform. Based on the Products/Services You avail or intend to avail, it will be construed that the respective Company (which is offering such Products/Services) is collecting the data from You. Any Information that You submit while availing Bittiya Sallah Products and Services, you hereby agree and acknowledge that You submit Your Information to Bittiya Sallah and it’s Partner.

Please note that in the event You do not agree to any or all the clauses of the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and product specific Terms and Conditions or in case You do not wish to provide any information, including personal or personally identifiable information, then Company may not be in a position to offer You all or some of the product/Services, including without limitation, certain features of the Platform, and may even restrict You (partially or fully) from accessing the Platform. We shall not be held responsible and/ or liable for any denial of Service due to the User not providing the required information.

You must be a natural person who is at least 18 (eighteen) years of age and citizens of Nepal. You must not misrepresent Your identity. The Company presumes adequate and lawful parental consent in case the Personal Information is shared by a User under the age of 18 years.

As we update, improve, and expand the services, this policy may change. Hence, we urge you to refer to it periodically. By continuing to access the products/services and using the platform, it is deemed that You understand and agree to this Privacy Policy and consent to collection, storage, and use of the personal information provided by You (including any changes thereto) for any of the Services that the Company provides.

The information about the User as collected by the Company is: 

(a) information provided by Users and 

(b) information automatically tracked while a user uses the Platform

(c) information collected from any other source 

(d) information generated while availing Our Services including but not limited to transactional information (collectively referred to as “User Information” or “Information”).

Information You Provide Us

Personal Information : Personal Information is the information that can be associated with a specific person and could be used to identify that specific person. We collect Your Name, Parent’s Name, Address, telephone number, e-mail address, Date of Birth, Gender, Marital Status and other demographic information. Any other information provided by you as part of “Know your customer” norms as required under applicable laws.

Credential: Passwords, Biometric, username, email id, mobile number information

Financial information such as Bank account or credit card or debit card or other payment instrument details

Non-Personal Information : We and our Service Providers may collect non-personal data while you access our platforms via url, smartphones or any other mobile devices. This information shall not identify “you” as a person.

Computer and device information: Information about your computer, Internet connection and mobile device, including your IP address, operating systems, platforms, browser type, other browsing information (connection, speed, connection type etc.), device type, device’s unique device identifier, mobile network information and the device’s telephone number.

Location information: Our applications collect real-time information about the location of your device, as permitted by you.

Mobile device IDs: Unique mobile device identifier (e.g. IDFA or other device IDs on Apple devices like the iPhone and iPad), if you’re using our Services on a mobile device, we may use mobile device IDs (the unique identifier assigned to a device by the manufacturer), instead of cookies, to recognize you. We may do this to store your preferences and track your use of our applications. Unlike cookies, mobile device IDs cannot be deleted.

Your activity on the Services: Information about your activity on the Services, such as your search queries, comments, application history, domain names, search results selected, number of clicks, pages viewed and the order of those pages, how long you visited our Services, the date and time you used the Services, error logs, and other similar information.

Your preferences: Your preferences and settings such as time zone and language.

OTP sent to you by our platform exclusively to carry out the login process and apply application.

Your messages on message boards, chats or any other message/feedback/comments areas shared on  our Platform and Social Media.

Information may be collected in various ways and formats during the course of your visit or access to our Platforms by way of –

• Visiting Bittiya Sallah Website/Mobile App.
• Registering on Bittiya Sallah platforms as an “user” or “partner” or any other relationship that may be governed by terms and conditions listed on. 
• Applying or attempting to apply on Bittiya Sallah platforms.
• Accessing, links, e-mails, notifications sent or owned by Bittiya Sallah platforms.
• Otherwise dealing with any of the “Bittiya Sallah Entities”

To improve the responsiveness of the Platform, make the experience more seamless or analyze the effectiveness of our services, We may use “cookies”, or similar electronic tools to collect Information. Please note that unless You voluntarily identify Yourself (through registration, for example), We will have no way of knowing who You are, even if We assign a cookie to Your computer or device. The only personal information a cookie can contain is the information You voluntarily supply. Similar to cookies, we may use “clear GIFs” (Web Beacons) to track the online usage patterns of Our Users in an anonymous manner, without personally identifying the User. We may also use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to Our Users to track & analyze which emails are opened by its recipients.

How do we use the information we collect
